Say the homepage is still leading with a winter promotion, and the spring collection launches Monday. Nobody wants to open a ticket for this — it needs to change on the page that’s already live, without breaking what customers are currently seeing. Here’s what that actually looks like in MagicFront.
Start from what’s already there, not from zero
You don’t rebuild the homepage — you open it and tell the AI assistant what needs to change on it directly:
“Update the homepage hero to promote the Spring Collection instead of the Winter Sale, move the testimonials section above the newsletter block, and swap the featured category from Winter Boots to Spring Sandals.”
The assistant reads the current page as it exists, then makes those edits against it — the hero copy and image, the section order, and the linked category — and gives you a preview of the result before anything changes for real visitors.
Finish the details by hand
Whatever the AI didn’t get exactly right, you adjust yourself. Click the hero widget to select it — it highlights along with the section around it — and edit its headline directly on the page, formatting included, confirming with Enter. If the testimonials move needs a small correction, drag it from the layers view where the position is easier to track. If a widget from last season isn’t needed anymore, delete it from its right-click menu; a confirmation step stops you from losing it by accident, and Ctrl+Z undoes anything that turns out wrong.
Update the header and footer if the season needs it
If the promotion also touches the announcement bar in the header, you can edit the store’s header and footer directly — select the element, configure it, and preview the result. A page can either follow the store’s general header/footer or keep its own; if this homepage needs a version different from the rest of the site, you can keep it page-specific instead of changing it everywhere.
Check it before it’s public
Open the preview in a new tab against your real store, or check it inside the editor, without it affecting what’s currently live. This is the moment to catch a headline that reads awkwardly on mobile, or a category link that’s pointing at the wrong collection.
Switch it over safely
Publishing the updated homepage saves a version and activates it. Because a store can only have one active homepage, MagicFront warns you if you’re about to publish a new one while another is still active — so the swap happens on purpose, not by accident. If the spring version needs to come down again later, you can deactivate it without deleting anything.
The brand doesn’t need re-checking
Because the store’s color palette and corner style are defined once and applied everywhere, none of this redesign work touches color decisions — the spring hero, the moved testimonials, and the new category widget all render on-brand automatically, the same as the winter version did.
