Right-click the one widget that needs to change
Instead of going back to the main chat, you right-click the widget itself — the testimonials block, say — and choose “Edit with AI.” That opens a chat centered on that widget alone, with no need to reference the rest of the page for the AI to know what you’re talking about.
A compact bubble, until you need more room
You start typing in a small, compact bubble right there. Once you send the request, it expands into a full panel — one you can move around the screen, so it doesn’t sit on top of the exact widget you’re trying to look at while you check the result.
Keep it scoped, or bring it into the main conversation
If the fix really is just that one widget, you close the chat when you’re done — with a button, the Escape key, or by clicking outside it — and nothing else about the page was touched. But if, partway through, the change turns out to affect more than that one widget, you’re not stuck: you can pass that conversation into the main chat and keep going from there with the full page in view.
If it’s not quite right, keep going
Nothing about this locks you into one shot at getting it right — you keep talking to the same compact chat until the widget looks the way you want, or pass it to the main chat if the fix turns out to need more context than just that one widget.
