Say you know exactly what a page needs — one more widget in a specific spot, something moved a little higher, a section that should sit inside another one — and describing that to the AI would take longer than just doing it yourself. Here’s what that looks like without typing a single request.
Add a widget exactly where you want it
A “+ Add” bar is available at the top of the page, between every two widgets, and inside any empty section or column — so wherever you click to add something, that’s exactly where it lands. Search the widget catalog by name (it matches approximately, so a rough guess still finds it), or filter by category, with a count showing how many widgets are in each. You can navigate the results grid with the keyboard — arrows, Home, End, Enter — and preview a widget before you commit to inserting it. Once it’s in, it’s already selected with its configuration panel open, ready to fill in, and you can clear the search or filters if nothing matches.
Select it, and see what’s around it
Click a widget and it’s marked as selected, with its controls appearing around it — and the containers around it highlight too, so you can see what it’s part of. Hovering over a widget highlights it with action buttons before you’ve even clicked, and clicking a cell or column selects its container directly. Some things are protected from this by design: the header, the footer, and any locked widget can’t be selected by accident.

Right-clicking a widget — either on the page itself or from the layers view — opens a context menu with actions like duplicating or deleting it. Deleting always asks for confirmation first, and certain things stay off-limits regardless: fixed cells, the header, and the footer can’t be deleted from this menu at all. Duplicating creates the copy right next to the original.
Move it by dragging
Widgets can be dragged and dropped to reorder them, and on touch devices, pressing and holding starts the drag the same way a click-and-drag would on desktop. This works within a section or between columns, not just at the top level of the page. Dragging a widget into a section adds it as part of that section, and dragging it back out makes it independent again. If a widget is buried and harder to grab directly on the page, you can reorder it from the layers view instead, with a position indicator showing exactly where it will land. Locked widgets are the one exception — they can’t be dragged at all.
